By creating a CareSync account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms cover what you can do with CareSync, what you can't, how your paid plan works, and where the line sits between our responsibility and yours.
CareSync is a shared place for your family's medication list, appointments, documents, and care notes. To keep it that way, please follow these rules:
You're responsible for keeping your password and sign-in details safe. You're also responsible for the family member profiles you add to CareSync — by adding someone, you confirm you have the right to share their caregiving information with us.
We may need to suspend accounts that materially harm other users in their care circle, or that are used to abuse the service.
CareSync has two tiers.
Billing is handled by Stripe. Monthly plans renew each month. Annual plans renew once a year. You can cancel anytime from Settings — Stripe handles the refund according to its own policy. We don't see or store your card numbers. That's Stripe's job, and it's the same thing we say in the Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Personal data leaves our system within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these terms or harm other families in your care circle. If we terminate your account without cause, you keep access for the rest of any paid period you bought. Pro-rated refunds in that case go through Stripe.
CareSync is a coordination tool, not a medical one. Reminders and a shared medication list help your family stay organized. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.
CareSync is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. We do our best, but no app is perfect.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareSync is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. For paid-plan users, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. If there's a dispute we can't sort out by email, it's resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. We'd rather hear from you first — please contact us at the address below before starting anything formal.
If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify active users in-app. Continued use of CareSync after a change means you accept the revised terms.
